Carpet & Vinyl Fitter - Commercial & Residential

Bridgeman Recruitment Services ( Agency) are currently seeking experienced Carpet and Vinyl Fitters to join our team working on commercial and residential flooring projects across Manchester and Yorkshire. Candidates must be skilled in all aspects of floor laying, including preparation, measuring, cutting, and fitting various types of carpets and vinyl.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of carpets and vinyl flooring in both domestic and commercial environments

• Accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting

• Floor preparation, including screeding and underlay installation

• Working to deadlines and maintaining a clean, professional finish

• Communicating with site managers, clients, and team members

• Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fitting both carpet and vinyl flooring

• Own tools and transport essential

• CSCS card preferred

• Ability to travel to different sites across Manchester and Yorkshire

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
