Site Manager
Location: UK-wide
Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 per annum

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction sites across the UK. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, coordinating all site activities and teams while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This role involves travel and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day site operations to meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Schedule and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
Enforce health and safety regulations, carry out site inspections, and deliver safety training
Conduct quality checks and resolve issues promptly
Efficiently manage labour, materials, and equipment
Monitor inventory and coordinate timely material procurement
Maintain accurate records including daily logs and progress reports
Report project status to senior management
Resolve on-site issues and conflicts to minimise delays
Identify risks and implement mitigation measures
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor in construction
Strong leadership, organisational, and time management skills
Proficient with project management software and MS Office
Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
SMSTS certification
Valid UK driving licence
EUSR SHEA POWER or valid CSCS card
Desirable:
Qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
Experience in petrol forecourt construction (UKPIA)
Emergency First Aid at Work
Additional Information:
This role requires travel across the UK and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Company vehicle and fuel card provided.
