Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation of tenders and estimates Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Preparing quantities and take-offs Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations Issuing enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers Comparing quotations and preparing tender comparisons Assisting with pricing preliminaries Supporting the preparation of bills of quantities Assisting with value engineering exercises Reviewing construction programmes and project information Maintaining accurate estimating records Updating tender information and pricing databases Supporting the Estimator with tender submissions Attending tender meetings when required Liaising with the commercial and pre-construction teams Assisting with post-tender queries Developing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers Supporting the wider pre-construction team with ad-hoc requirements About You The ideal candidate will have some previous estimating or commercial experience within the construction industry and will be looking for the next step in their career.
