Cityscape Recruitment
Technical Project Manager
Cityscape Recruitment
About the company: Our client who has regional offices throughout the UK, is an award winning contaminated land remediation contractor who offers practical solutions for brownfield regeneration and contaminated land problems. By using their extensive in-house experience, they aim to provide an unrivalled service tailored to their clients individual needs. To date, our client has successfully completed technical projects throughout the UK for local authorities, residential and commercial developers, main contractors and consultants, either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor, which range from small spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation/development platform preparation on brownfield regeneration sites. Our client recruits only the best people, who are motivated, dedicated and can work with a professional outlook. Having worked closely with this client for many years, I would highly recommend them as they offer an excellent working environment where they encourage professionals to grow. Furthermore, with a close management team, the business has the ability to offer a real family feel, assuring that you will be a name rather than just a number within the organisation. About the opportunity: Based upon current and anticipated workload, my client is recruiting permanently for a Project Manager who will be responsible for delivering remediation projects initially across the North West. This opportunity will combine technical expertise with hands-on project management and delivery experience. Initial projects are in Manchester and Ellesmere Port. These sites are complex, including a former oil refinery and petrochemical site, so my client is looking for a professional who is comfortable and capable of operating in these technically changing environments. About the requirements: To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a degree or HNC in a construction-related discipline (geology, civil engineering, or a similar field). Given this is a senior opportunity, my client is targeting a professional with a minimum of 6 years contracting experience within the remediation/contaminated land sector, gained whilst working for a contractor in the UK. Experience of working within the brownfield regeneration sector is essential. Due to the challenging nature of the work, experience with PFAS assessments and operating soil treatment facilities would be a significant advantage for the role. Additionally, whilst the initial long-term projects are in the North West of England, future projects can be anywhere in the UK, so you must be willing to travel and work away when required and hold a full UK driving license. About the benefits and rewards: For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals who are looking to earn anywhere between £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Additionally, there will be a generous package offered in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful company. How to apply: If interested in this opportunity, please send a copy of your CV to me or call the main office to discuss further on a confidential basis.
