Profile The Successful Maintenance Technician will: Carry out a range of maintenance tasks in accordance with the appropriate policy, specifications and HSE regulations in the delivery of: Fabric maintenance of building Carpentry work Fabric project work, lifecycle, variations and minor works Utilise the BMS as a tool in controlling and monitoring mechanical plant Ensures compliance with all contractual, HBN and HTM requirements for all areas of responsibility Detailed understanding and control of the CAFM system Ensure individual & supply chain compliance with Task control sheets / instructions. Inspect fire doors in accordance with schedule and undertake repairs as required. Liaise with WPA staff as and when required during the coordination of planned and reactive activities. Maintain all records associated with delivering the service ensuring faults are repaired in accordance with the contract requirements Participate in the On Call process Works to be carried out with diligence, competence and in a manner that ensures customer expectations are met at all times. The operative required will be included within the site call out rota, with normal working hours of 8-4 Mon - Fri. Good local knowledge of the Taunton area. Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the site based maintenance team based in Taunton. The role will be to complete PPM and reactive maintenance. This position will be initially for a 12 month fixed term contract with a view of permanent or extension. Ideally you will have multi trade exposure, with a carpentry city and guilds qualification.
