Senior Technical Designer required to join a leading workplace design and build firm, working from their London office. With a growing portfolio of projects, my client is looking to expand their team by appointing a Senior Technical Designer that is a highly proficient Revit user and enjoys getting stuck into the detail of fast-paced workplace projects.
Established over a decade ago, my client is well-established and a leader within their sector. Current projects range from 5,000sqft to 100,000sqft+. This role will be joining an existing team of creative designers, working alongside two other technical designers you will be involved in projects from concept through to realisation, focused on the production and delivery of technical packages for workplace projects across the UK. My client is open to considering candidates from either a D&B or consultancy background, you will need to be Revit proficient and passionate about creating detailed technical drawings.
Role & Responsibilities
To produce technical drawings and packages in Revit
Liaise with internal teams to understand client requirements and project specifications
Keep up to date and understand building regulations
Maintain company design standardsRequired Skills & Experience
Degree qualified in interior design, architecture, or interior architecture
Competent Revit user, ability to use AutoCAD also desired
Strong technical skills and understanding of design and build projects
Strong initiative and proactive approach to work
Freehand sketching is desirable
Understanding of building regulations applicable to workplace projects.What you get back
