Monitor the section plan, update progress and feedback to the Agent/Project Manager and section team. Update the plan weekly with as built information, events (Si's, CVI's, errors) which affect progress. Review the future critical activities Review progress on long lead in activities (procurement, design, delivery, stats, manufacture etc.) Review paperwork, method statements, permits licences etc. are in place for planned work. Regular planning meetings with team to debrief previous work, review future work, discuss what if's. Slinger/Signaller We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Operative - Slinger/Signaller to join our team on a civil engineering project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring lifting operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site and industry standards. Working as a senior temporary works design engineer, you will be working on a number of significant sized projects including recent wins on HS2. You will deliver well considered, quality temporary works design solutions to areas such as; basement propping, façade retentions, tower crane bases, and major ground retention schemes. You will be required to manage graduate engineers and technicians and manage your own design schemes. Generally, the type of work carried out is challenging and requires engineers who are strong problem solvers. You will have designed to Eurocodes and British Standards in steel but also preferably in the other main structural materials. You will get the opportunity to work on some of the biggest UK projects such as HS2 and will have no glass ceiling in terms of progression.
