We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association in Kent , who are looking to appoint a 2 x Property Surveyors. 1 x permanent contract and 1 x 2-year fixed term contract. This will be a full-time position based across South London and Sussex with hybrid working a salary of £42,948 - £53,685 per annum + £2,329 car allowance. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of managing and inspecting all aspects of major works, responsive repairs, planned improvements, service and cyclical contracts, managing and delivering budgets. Handling residential tenancies by servicing section 20 notices and liaising in regards to health and safety and FRA.
Being responsible for apportionment and recovery in terms of insurance.
Liaising with Brokers.
Working with licences for Alteration and Assignment.
Conducting any necessary rent reviews and lease renewals.
Ensuring that all meter readings are conducted and up to date.
Regularly conducting fire alarm tests.
Reviewing contracts.
The Person: would be expected to have 5 years' experience and come from a commercial or mixed portfolio background. You will be expected to manage your own time and report to the Head of Property Management. You will be a confident and out going person who will represent the company to the highest standard in front of clients. Along with your organisation skills, you will also be a key team player as well as an individual. • Development feasibility studies
• Cost Planning
• Cost Managements and Cost Engineering
• Contract Administration
• Project and Development Life Cycle Costing

• Legal and Contract Advisory Services
• Capital Allowances Appraisals
• All other typical duties in an Employers Agent type role in the Property Development sector
Due to their expanding workload they now have a new opening for a number of ambitious Quantity Surveyors with consultancy side experience. Working alongside an established, but small team on a portfolio of projects with high-end Commercial & Residential Development and Institutional investment clients.
Experience wise we are looking to talk to candidates will anywhere between 5 and 10 years post-graduation experience and if not already chartered will be working towards this. (not limited to this)
Previous experience in the UK or Irish market is essential.
