Overview Freelance Site Manager, Plymouth Rate: £300 - £350 a day PAYE via the agency Duration: 6 months plus Role An exciting freelance Site Manager opportunity working for a well-respected, top tier main contractor on a £20m new build public sector building in Plymouth. The role will involve taking the internal trades through to finishes and handover of the scheme, working with an established site team and reporting into a project lead. Duties Follow the Construction Phase Plan (Project Management Plan), including all site procedures and practices and completing records and documentation. Ensuring compliance with the health and safety Management Plan Ensuring construction environmental procedures are implemented on site. Keeping a site diary including records of subcontractor attendance and progress. Ensuring that appropriate quality records are being produced and monitored to verify that the works are being completed in accordance with the specified requirements Managing direct and subcontract labour and the keeping of records and allocation sheets. Advising on buildability issues as required. Setting up and monitor handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation. Candidate Candidate will need to have worked on similar size construction projects for recognised main contractors as well as have the following experience: A proven track record of overseeing internal trade packages and finishes. A proven track record of supporting the construction and completion of similar projects on time and on budget. Confident in the use of IT packages and systems Self-motivation Additional requirements SMSTS CSCS Card (Manager card required) First Aid at Work Knowledge of Building Regulations and The Building Safety Act
