Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should bring a combination of technical expertise, communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Qualifications include: A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. Proven experience working on civil engineering projects such as highways, infrastructure, utilities, groundworks, drainage, or structures. Strong skills in setting out, surveying, and quality assurance. A thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. CSCS card is required; SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid certifications are desirable.
