You will act as a key technical lead, supporting both engineers and site teams while ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with design specifications. Key Responsibilities Lead the engineering function for designated sections of the project, providing guidance to Site Engineers and setting technical standards. Oversee setting out , engineering controls, design coordination, and technical problem-solving. Review drawings, specifications and temporary works requirements; raise RFIs where required. Manage and maintain QA documentation , as-built records, ITP compliance and progress reporting. Coordinate with project managers, planners, designers, commercial teams and subcontractors. Ensure all works comply with H&S policies, method statements and best practice safety procedures. Contribute to programme planning, sequencing and resource coordination. Assist in stakeholder/client communication, reporting and handover documentation. Requirements Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Strong, proven background as a Senior Engineer or a Site Engineer ready to step up. Experience delivering major civils or infrastructure projects (RC structures, utilities, highways, heavy civils). Excellent setting-out knowledge and familiarity with modern survey equipment. Strong understanding of QA, temporary works and engineering compliance.
