Duties Include: Marking out drilling bracket preparation Installation of brackets and copper pipe in various sizes Working as part of team on specialist projects throughout the UK Working from dimensions and layout drawings Adhering to Health & Safety Completing work to a high standard The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role, Installation of medical & laboratory gas systems is ideal. Experience fitting copper pipe and brazing. Medical Gas Competent Persons (MGPS CP) accreditation preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate. Our client, a rapidly expanding Medical Gas Installation firm who have won a number of long term projects are looking to hire a number of Pipefitters. The role will involve testing and commissioning of Medical Gas Pipeline Systems, operating throughout Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and West London - services for both NHS and Private Independent healthcare sectors. Duties Include: Marking out drilling bracket preparation Installation of brackets and copper pipe in various sizes Working as part of team on specialist projects throughout the UK Working from dimensions and layout drawings Adhering to Health & Safety Completing work to a high standard The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role, Installation of medical & laboratory gas systems is ideal. Experience fitting copper pipe and brazing. Medical Gas Competent Persons (MGPS CP) accreditation preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate. CSCS card Excellent communication skills Full UK driving licence Additonal Benefits Include Parking onsite paid Tools provided/paid for if required. Any travel distance over 80 miles lodging available. (Lodge, breakfast & dinner paid) Van with fuel card Mobile phone after probation period (iPhone) Can be used as a personal phone also. 24 days holiday pay + Bank Holidays (3 days to kept for the Christmas break).
