Senior Quantity Surveyor

Madisons Recruitment are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis located in Reading, Berkshire.

Our client are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their rapidly growing team specialising in the supply and installation of suspended ceilings.

Responsibilities

• Managing and controlling all financial matters for live site projects
• Procurement of materials and plant suppliers along with subcontractors
• Responsibility of estimating services including Bill of Quantities production
• Dealing with all the measurements, valuations and agreements of work sections
• Working closely with the accounts department ensuring payments are made and chasing any outstanding payments
• Producing accurate internal cost reports
• Price tender submissions
• Meeting clients on a daily basis and attending site meetings

Requirements

• Previous experience required in the surveying industry
• Proven track record on profitable projects
• CSCS Card and SSTS will be an advantage
• Experience in different forms of contract will also be an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Experience working within the drylining industry
