My client is currently on the lookout for a talented and passionate Civil Project Engineer with commercial experience of working in the construction industry!
As a Civil Project Engineer, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of our clients' projects. Collaborating closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, design teams, off-site manufacturing supply chains, and our in-house construction teams, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of project delivery. From the initial pre-construction stage to the final handover of completed structures, your management and coordination skills are essential for achieving project success.
Key Functions of the role:
Pre-construction:
Develop conceptual designs
Influence Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) system approach strategy
Establish project specifications and define quality standards
Design:
Coordinate design solutions with clients and designers
Manage design program and monitor outputs
Ensure quality and compliance with design specifications
Manufacture:
Manage production outputs according to schedules
Monitor quality of off-site manufactured components
Provide technical guidance and support to production teams
Construction:
Ensure quality of construction and technical compliance
Produce design information to facilitate the construction process
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams
