Location: Ideally you will be based in the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in entering or returning to the sprinkler industries as a Service Engineer. What you will be doing Responsible for PPM and small works projects across a few buildings Servicing all types of valve sets Carrying out 5 point flow tests on fire pumps Conducting general service checks What we will need from you Experience in servicing all types of the following valve sets: Wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre-Action (essential) Experience of carrying out 5-point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential) Experience of Plumbing / Piping Knowledge & fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential) Must have a full UK driving license able to cover a regional role (essential) Sprinkler Installation Level 2 qualified (desirable) Previous experience gained within Commercial / Industrial buildings environment (desirable) Experience in small works install (desirable) Experience and understanding of electronic reporting (desirable) What you can expect in return Competitive & negotiable Salary Range 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension scheme Company Van + fuel card Mobile phone and tablet 40 Hours per week worked from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday How to apply Please submit a tailored CV detailing your experience relevant to this role. Mobile Technical Operative - Mechanical Bias Greater Manchester - City of Manchester 37,000 plus Van + Fuel card Brief Mobile Technical Operative needed for a well-known, large Facilities Management organisation based in Manchester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Technical Operative that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Mechanical and Electrical building services. The successful candidate would desirably have a relevant qualification - i.e. City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering Services NVQ Level 2 or Higher etc. - and have a keen interest in Technical Operations.
