A growing specialist contractor is looking to appoint an FRA Project Manager to support the delivery of Fire Risk Assessment remedial works and passive fire protection projects across social housing and occupied residential properties. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from mobilisation and surveys through to programming, remedial works, quality assurance and final completion. The Role You will be responsible for helping coordinate multiple FRA remedial and passive fire protection projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required standards. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the delivery of multiple FRA remedial and passive fire protection projects. Assisting with project mobilisation, surveys, programming, installation, inspection and close-out. Coordinating operatives, surveyors, subcontractors, materials and site attendance. Monitoring progress and proactively identifying delays, access issues and project risks. Attending sites to monitor progress, quality and compliance. Job Requirements This is a 20-hour per week role, working Monday to Friday and the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license. Provide a 'Buddy' Scheme Manager Service at other Onward properties as and when required. Health & Safety Compliance Ensure that each Sheltered Housing scheme meets the regulatory standards for all health and safety and compliance requirements. Ensure the property logbooks are up to date and all requirements are met. Partnership Working Liaise with health and social care providers, voluntary agencies, and others assisting tenants to maintain their accommodation. Develop processes of direct communication with tenants, relatives of tenants, the wider community and external parties. Neighbourhoods Ensure all voids, lettings and housing management issues are communicated to neighbourhoods ensuring collaborative working. Ensure that effective, sensitive management practices are maintained by implementing Onward management procedures within the scheme. Line Management & Leadership Provide line management and leadership, managing resources to ensure that objectives are achieved. Building Management Manage day to day running of scheme, including reporting repairs, health and safety concerns, reducing risk and ensuring security of the building is maintained. Report and monitor performance of repairs and service contracts. Skills/Experience Essential: Experience of dealing with older people in a service environment. Experience of building management and compliance requirements. Relevant knowledge of Health and Safety policies and risks. Ability to work on your own initiative as part of a dispersed team. Skilled communicator with excellent customer service skills. Experience of working proactively to improve services and customer satisfaction. IT skills - Microsoft office up to an intermediate level. Satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) reference. Desirable: Knowledge of CQC requirements. Qualifications Essential: Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent qualification/experience.
