My client is currently looking for an experienced Wood Machinist, who is used to working towards tight deadlines in order to get projects completed. The core hours of the specific role will be 8am to 4.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break, but can be expected to work 8am to 6pm in busy periods and Saturday mornings either 8am to 12pm or 6am to 10am. The pay rate our client is offering is a well paid £10 to £12 per hour dependent on experience with an overtime payment of your hourly rate plus an extra £1 per hour. Working as part of the joinery team machining parts for mainly bespoke items and some small batch work. The role involves setting and operating CNC machinery. Working from drawings to produce timber, acrylic, polystyrene and foam parts. Be adaptable to working with different materials. Carrying out necessary maintenance Helping out in joinery with basic joinery and assembly when required. Skills and Characteristics Proven CNC machining experience.
