Job Description

My client are looking for a CNC Programmer / Operator for my client working at their main production site near York. The items crafted range from flat packable goods for rental stock, to one off bespoke items and temporary structures. Working as part of the joinery team machining parts for mainly bespoke items and some small batch work. The role involves setting and operating CNC machinery. Working from drawings to produce timber, acrylic, polystyrene and foam parts. Be adaptable to working with different materials. Carrying out necessary maintenance Helping out in joinery with basic joinery and assembly when required. Skills and Characteristics Proven CNC machining experience. Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated. Ability to read and work from CAD drawings. Have an organised and safe approach to work. Basic joinery skills would be an advantage. Be a team player with good communication skills. Flexible with working hours. Must have own transport due to rural location Working 8.00-16.30 plus overtime
