Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: London Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 + package The Company This Senior Quantity Surveyors role is with one of London’s leading refurbishment and fit out contractors. They have an excellent reputation and are going from strength to strength with a growing team and enviable client base. Specialising in CAT A, CAT B and refurbishment projects they have established themselves as one of the go to contractors for schemes in the £1m - £40m range. The Role We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has the ability to lead the commercial delivery of a circa £10m commercial office fit out / refurbishment scheme. You will need experience of working on projects from tender stage through to handover and you will be lynch pin with the day to day running of the project in terms of procurement and financial control, your responsibilities will include: * To maximise the commercial return of the project. * Protect the company’s contractual position by ensuring all obligations are discharged appropriately and ensure governance and procedural requirements are adhered to. * To take active responsibility for all commercial procedures * To take a lead role in the valuation process where applicable. * Assist in developing the initial project budget and agree detailed cost plan. * Advise on procurement routes and Sub-Contractor selection. * Manage the change process in conjunction with the extended team.
