Job description: Project Manager
Location: Norwich with regular travel across East Anglia
Hours of Work: 8-5, Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + van + fuel card
Our client, a large local social housing contractor providing maintenance services to 1000s of properties across the East is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead, manage and implement change projects that develop their long-term property strategy. You will be responsible for improving and evolving the way the company manage their portfolio, and will support the Group in creating and embracing longer term portfolio investment plans, enhancing value for money and helping to create a portfolio of high quality homes and sustainable communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working with the Asset Management team and wider stakeholders, identify opportunities for change and improvement with our portfolio investment.
• Develop and present business cases and project plans for change to the Asset Leadership Team and wider stakeholder groups, as required.
• Lead, manage and implement property projects/strategy that enhance our portfolio investment, coordinating and consulting with operational teams. Ultimately helping to deliver the Asset Management Plan by ensuring those projects are devised and delivered with safety, sustainability, affordability, and cost-effectiveness in mind.
• To prepare rigorous financial appraisals and monitor performance throughout the lifecycle of projects.
• To report on the progress and performance of projects comprehensively and accurately, pre and post implementation.
• Represent Asset Management internally, forming good working relationships with other key teams in the Group, and externally in appropriate forums, such as peer networks.
• To take personal responsibility for excellent customer service.
• Be aware of responsibilities in respect of data protection and other relevant legislation in the treatment of confidential and personal information.
• Take personal responsibility for seeking value for money opportunities to get service right first time.
• Understand and use measures to enable continuous improvement.

• To actively support the Group's E, D & I policy to ensure that all customers/residents and colleagues within the Group are treated fairly, with dignity and respect.

Experience:
• Project Management (essential)

Qualifications:
• Relevant property, business or asset management qualification
• Educated to a GCSE standard or equivalent, including Grade C or above in English and Maths
• Full driving licence

The role is offered on a temp-perm basis with the potential to lead to a full time position with the company after 13 weeks as long as performance and standards are met.
A van and fuel card will be issued with this role.
