Distribution Manager

RMX Distribution Manager (Ref: 11741) Are you experienced working in a Supply Chain function able to take a global view of logistics and distribution across a territory to deliver optimal performance and service delivery? Aggregate Industries we now have an exciting new opportunity for a Distribution Manager to deliver improved transport utilisation and cost savings within our Ready-mix division in the Scotland Central Belt. The role will include occasional driving to cover holidays and absence. Reporting to the Area Manager, within the region, and working under the guidance of the National Logistics Manager to identify and deliver improvements to road logistics safety, customer service, operating cost and sustainable logistics efficiencies. This role will focus on the implementation and execution of the National Road Logistics strategy.
