Managing Quantity Surveyor Are you a Managing Quantity Surveyor? Do you have recent experience working on Water treatment projects? Are you looking for a new role with a well establish water contractor? If the answer is yes, then this is the perfect opportunity with a well known water contractor, who hold an excellent reputation in the local region. Based at one of the offices within United Utilities or on site, you will provide commercial support and leadership to projects/contracts and ensure that commercial discipline is maintained throughout the framework duration. As an individual, you will be experienced in successfully delivering schemes of varying sizes, predominantly to the Water Industry, across water Treatment plants and utilities and Water schemes. Ideally, you will be located within the area and will be someone who is extremely proactive and dynamic, with the will to learn and develop into a strong commercial professional Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor Rate: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum + package Contract Type: Permanent Location: Oswestry Randstad CPE Contact: Sophie Clemmence - Maidstone Branch Within this role you will be responsible for: Accountability in completion of financial transactions in contract terms and legislation Managing a team of Quantity Surveyors Handling disputes that should be resolved in a cordial way and quick payments to subcontractors and suppliers Preparing final account audit and agreement Informing the accurate information about commercial data on a monthly basis to the leadership team Maintaining cost control, updating financial reviews on a monthly and weekly basis. You will be responsible for administering subcontracts and client contracts in accordance with the terms and conditions Alongside this, your Requirements within this role includes: Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying Excellent IT and maths skills are essential Attention to detail Excellent report writing Experience in Water Treatment, Utilities or Highways NEC3 or other target cost experience Knowledge and experience of managing an individual or team Benefits: Competitive salary and opportunity for growth within this business Car/Car allowance 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy) Contribution pension scheme Life Assurance Health Insurance Private Medical Insurance Does this above all sound of interest to you?
