Senior Architect

We are currently on recruiting for a Senior Architect to join a leading Architectural practice based in the Edinburgh area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect to develop their career within an award winning team. Our client is seeking an experienced candidate to take a leading role within the practice. The successful Senior Architect will be working on a variety of projects from Hospitality to Office Space as this is a multidisciplinary practice so it is essential to have some previous experience within a similar project. On a day to day basis you will be working with Revit so it is highly advantageous to have a good working knowledge of Revit. The successful Senior Architect will have an instrumental role within the practice and should be able to confidently run projects as well as lead a design team. Senior Architect Position Overview Working on a variety projects across the UK Working with Revit on a daily basis Work projects from planning stage through to completion Prepare and produce technical bid and tender documents Create engaging designs that exceed the project brief Senior Architect Position Requirements Minimum 5 years post Part-III RIBA, recently qualified ARB or equivalent with UK on-site construction experience essential Ability to manage a demanding workload of medium to large-scale projects Knowledge of UK building regulations A strong design portfolio Good construction detailing knowledge Competent free-hand drawing ability, an advanced knowledge of a variety of different software that includes AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch Up and Revit Excellent communication and organisational skills Analytical approach to workload Commercially aware, responsible and reliable Experience of preparing and presenting design proposals to the client Willing to take responsibility and able to use own initiative Wants to take on and drive projects forward with little day to day 'hands-on' guidance Keeping within financial budgets and time deadlines Capable of liaising confidently with clients and consultants and developing those professional relationship Senior Architect Position Remuneration Competitive salary (£35,000 - £45,000 DOE) Holiday Pension Social Events Working Hours; Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5pm Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
