Groundworker ganger

We are looking for a groundwork-ganger to join a HS2 project in Wendover, Buckinghamshire. As a groundworks ganger, you will be responsible for overseeing all the logistics of groundworks. Duties may include creating work schedules for your team, and allocating responsibilities. You might also be required to conduct site visits and report to senior managers on project progress. About The Role Good level of experience of Pipelaying and the experience of supervising a small team of operatives. Expected to lead by example in a working supervisory position and carry out any tasks assigned by overseeing Foreman with regards to safety, working to method statements and work plans. Capable recording daily work records and delivering safety briefs/tool box talks etc. About The Candidate Minimum Competencies Required: CSCS Green, Blue or Gold Card SSSTS 2 years experience as a Groundwork Ganger Pay rate: £17.66 per hour PAYE for the first 39 hours and £26.49 per hour PAYE for the remaining 11 hours Start date: ASAP for the right candidate Hours: Mon - Fri 7.30am - 5.30pm (1 hour break each day) Please apply by submitting your up-to-date CV.
