Job Description
We are looking for a full time experienced Demolition Project Manager to join our clients team and to support the Contracts Managers.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in demolition projects.
* CSCS/CCDO cards desirable.
* Understanding of risk management.
* Good knowledge of forms of building contracts (including JCT and NEC3) and experience of contract administration.
* Ability to control day-to-day programming and planning, monitor progress and expenditure of projects.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent computer proficiency, including MS Project, Word, and Excel.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and complete assignments within parameters of instructions set and standard process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of demolition projects to budget and programme.
* Controlling and minimising risk on projects.
* Working together with Site Manager/Supervisor for the programming and resourcing of projects.
* Contract management.
* Development of Site-specific management plans and methodologies including method statements, risk assessments, traffic management plans and programmes.
* Cost tracking of the project.
* Overseeing all project procurements.
* Undertake inspections for compliance against policies and procedures and liaise with HSEQ Consultant.
* Client management and business development.
* Oversee Subcontractors to ensure compliance e.g., having appropriate licenses, insurances, working under subcontractor terms of engagement.

This position is office based however, you will be required to visit site as and when necessary, therefore a driving license is essential.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. Extra hours when required.
