Position Assistant Design Manager Location Manchester Salary £competitive Our Client Our client is a forward-thinking, dynamic construction company, they specialise in the design and build of Industrial, Commercial, Residential, Mix-Use Development projects ranging in value from £15m-£100m +, throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on large Industrial projects throughout the region. The role Assist project Senior/Design Manager to prepare scope of works documents and scope mark-ups Assist project Senior/Design Manager to develop the design programme Value engineering Design verification processes Design co-ordination Design team meetings and workshops Document control relating to the design Collate, manage and submit design evidence for BREEAM, CfSH, client's insurers or any other third party's approval Assist project Senior/Design Manager in the preparation of monthly report / Client reports Assembling and archiving of handover information at project completion Interrogate and gain full understanding of the Employer's requirements, design brief and specifications Input, produce and implement the project Design Management forms, following the company guidelines and procedures Ensure the scope of services for incorporation into each consultant/subcontractor appointment/order meet the project requirements Work alongside the commercial team during procurement, interrogating subcontractor quotes for compliance Manage design co-ordination process through design workshops and collaborative working with the designersWhat is on offer Our client is offering a competitive salary + other company benefits.
