Geologist

We are seeking established engineering geologists to join our friendly and established teams delivering ground investigations throughout the UK. We can provide an exciting and varied workload working closely with our own in-house engineering and drilling teams, technicians and commercial staff providing you with the opportunity to develop your career and work towards Chartership. We have an active training programme of all essential ground investigation qualifications, but also encourage staff development by attendance on courses including SARD, SSSTS, SMSTS and PRINCE2, along with bespoke technical, contractual, and commercial seminars including NEC3. If you are working towards your Chartership, this is something we support and encourage. Your role will be predominantly site-based focusing on delivering a range of ground investigations where you will take the lead for stake holder engagement, site management, site documentation and site health and safety, often leading a team of logging engineers, drilling rigs and ancillary activities. The ideal candidate will be a team player who takes responsibility, is well organised, quality orientated and self-motivating. Due to the nature of the work and projects there will be a need to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home - with all costs covered. Mid-term career geologists from complimentary industries such as mineral exploration are also encouraged to apply. Essential Skills Required: * Geology related degree * Experience within the industry * Good communication skills * Experience of setting up and executing projects in accordance with current best working practice and standards * Robust approach to management of site H&S requirements * Full and clean UK driving license.
