Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – Ipswich, Suffolk Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE) + Package OR-417 Orwell Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful regional contractor operating in Suffolk and Essex. The company is well-known for providing new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects ranging up to £3m in value for a variety of private and public sector industries. Position Overview: * Manage the surveying activities you are assigned daily * Ensure that all commercial activities are delivered to the agreed time, cost, service, specification, presentation, and quality * Record, cost and submit variations weekly to the client in line with the process, procedures, and policies * Be responsible for the sub-contractor accounts and financial management * Review sub-contractor quotations for compliance * Undertake weekly surveying meetings with the Site Managers and Project Managers Candidate: * Relevant qualification (preferred) * Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role * Previous experience working within a similar company * Confident communication skills on all levels If you would like to know more about this role, please contact Morgan at Orwell Consulting
