Quantity Surveyor – Ipswich, Suffolk Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE) + Package OR-417 Orwell Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful regional contractor operating in Suffolk and Essex. The company is well-known for providing new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects ranging up to £3m in value for a variety of private and public sector industries. The company work on high profile commercial, hi-tech buildings, schools, churches, cathedrals, universities, etc. Our client is looking for two additional Site Managers to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client has on-going projects in Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties, each project ranging from £1million to £5million. My client is an award-winning, fully Independent Planning Consultancy with a highly skilled and experienced team of Planning and Regeneration Consultants supporting clients across the UK. Due to consistent growth, the company is looking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced Charted Planner who has ideally worked within a similar role. Objective: The successful candidate will join the team in working on projects across several sectors, including residential & strategic land, commercial & industrial, retail, leisure & town centres, regeneration, education, and energy. Duties: * Working on TCPA projects (experience of DCO/ TWAO schemes would be an advantage). * Managing projects with guidance from a senior member of the team. * Liaising with clients, local authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders. * Developing strong professional networking relationships with those in the property and planning industry. * Identify opportunities for business development. * Working collaboratively in teams to support bids and tenders. * Writing and submitting planning applications.
