ESTIMATOR (Roofing/Cladding) Permanent Contract Salary £ 30,000.00 up to £ 35,000.00 (D.O.E.) UK, North, Durham area Graduates are welcome to apply! This is an amazing opportunity and join our client's team as an Estimator for Roofing and Cladding Systems projects. You must be a very creative professional to assess the quotation specification and formulate the most cost-effective solution. Our client was founded over 35 years ago and they are group of industries that comprises Building Products, Refurbishment Projects, Roofing Services, Cladding Systems to make up one of the most technically advanced, building envelope specialists in the UK. The ideal candidate will take great pride in their work, possess a strong commercial focus and be a team player. Your Main Duties and Responsibilities Review and preparation of tender documents, such as project quotations to the client & suppliers. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications & in house project drawings Prepare detailed estimates by reviewing all information required to formulate accurate project costings with attention to detail paid to all sections. Establish and develop close working relationships with clients, architects, contractors. Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Strive to retain existing clients and ensure the maximum longevity of your relationship with the Company through proactive contact and appropriate relationship development. Your Skills and Qualifications Excellent analytical skills. Experience liaising with architects and main contractors Excellent commercial awareness. A minimum of three years' experience within a similar role (ideally) Experience within the Roofing and Cladding industry would be beneficial although not essential. Good communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Your Contractual Benefits Working 38.50 hours per week Monday to Thursday (8.30am - 5pm) Friday 8.30am until 3.30pm (option of a 1pm finish) Discretional bonusses based on profitability.
