Job Title: Multi-Skilled Fitter Hours: 37.5 hours on a rotating shift pattern Contract: Permanent, Full-time Department: Production (factory based) Salary: £30,000 working up to the top rate of £34,600 per annum Benefits: Training and career development, Company Pension Scheme, Private medical insurance (BUPA), Comprehensive bonus structure, share ownership scheme About the company: Whale Tankers is one of the largest manufacturers of liquid waste tankers and jetting equipment in Europe. A need has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Fitter to join the team based at our Solihull Head Office on a permanent, full-time basis. Responsibilities: Working in the Final Assembly area of our factory, building our tankers after the paint process has been completed Fitting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to our tankers Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area Adhering, and working, to Health and Safety regulations Full training will be given to the right individual Job Requirements: Essential: Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge Ability to understand drawings Ability to use your own initiative Team working Attention to detail, working to high standards Being mechanically minded Ability to work under pressure Desirable: Experience in or an aptitude for vehicle electrical systems would be beneficial Background working in a production environment particularly body building Benefits: Successful candidates will have the opportunity for training and career development Competitive Company Pension Scheme Private medical insurance (BUPA) Comprehensive bonus structure Opportunity to join share ownership scheme To apply for the position of Multi-Skilled Fitter please click ‘Apply
