Senior Building Surveyor

Fantastic role has come about for a recently qualified to Senior level building surveyor to join a very modern and forward-thinking property build consultancy. Based near Preston, they wish to bring in someone who can offer a healthy mixture of project management and building surveying services on several large scale residential and commercial schemes with developers and housing associations across the UK offering first class exposure for any aspiring surveyor. Experience in contract admin, design specification and general surveying is advantageous but knowledge and experience in dilapidations would be crucial for the current workload this practice have on-going. This practice has big plans for the team making this quite an exciting time to join. Duties Undertaking Building Surveyor's inspections and preparing reports Preparing specifications for, and administering, repair and refurbishment contracts Preparing and negotiating schedules of dilapidations Assisting and preparing planned preventative maintenance plans Undertaking building reinstatement cost assessments Offering a professional and excellent client service at all times Business generation involvement.
