Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Linear Recruitment are working with a reputable contractor to recruit an entry level Assistant Quantity Surveyor for the construction, refurbishment, minor works and maintenance sector. Based in West Yorkshire This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor; You must hold a graduate degree in Quantity Surveying, or a Construction based subject; and this must be completed already. Produce accurate information for Contribution Forecasts and Monthly Cost/Value Reports To efficiently report on Site Progress and ensure correct procedure are implemented for Extension of Time applications and recovery of Loss and Expense Maximise profitability and cash benefit for the Company Control and administer sub-Contract accounts Re-measure of all Site works Liaise with Contracts Management on Cost Control and all financial matters relating to the Contract • Demonstrate experience of working on the commercial aspects of reactive maintenance and repairs projects as a Quantity Surveyor • Excellent verbal and written communicator Part Time Uni applicants welcome.
