Dispatch Assistant

An enthusiastic Dispatch Assistant / Loading and unloading Dispatch Officer is required for our prestigous market leading construction plant client based near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire to load and unload and dispatch their heavy plant equipment. This dispatch role would suit a proactive hard working professional with excellent communication skills and a flexible can do attitude and ideally some experience of dispatch, loading and unloading, stores, warehouse work. This is an exciting opportunity for dispatch professional to further develop their career. This position is open to motivated people who have the basic skills and attributes looking for a new challenge and or looking to develop their stores dispatch career. In return there is an excellent salary package of £25k-£28k dependent on experience plus excellent benefits including a generous pension scheme and holiday allowance and great career opportunity within an establised award winning company. The hours of work for this role are 8am- 5.30pm Monday to Friday and you maybe required to do some ad hoc overtime from time to time if lorry deliveries are late so arrive earlier or finish later from time to time, therefore you must be flexible. The ideal Dispatch person will have the following, experence, attributes and skills; * Some previous experience in; loading, unloading equipment, dispatch, stores, warehouse, Forklift experience * A can-do flexible attitude, polite, punctual and keen * Excellent communication skills * Basic IT skills, basic / good numeracy and literacy * Full driving licence * Excellent communication and interaction skills- ability to interact with everybody Desirable: * Loading / unloading plant equipment experience * FLT licence The Dispatch stores role will be responsible for the following; * Dealing with goods-in, goods-out, dispatch of plant equipment * Assist and manage the loading and unloading of vehicles and plant equipment and securing equipment * Administration – input orders and checking onto computer system A full job description will be discussed and submitted to suitable dispatch coordinator candidates upon application.
