Mechanical Commissioning Technician

Role: Mechanical Commissioning Technician Location: Plymouth Duration: 6-9 months Pay: £400 per day Limited company outside IR35 Do you have experience in the world of Oil and Gas, petrochemical or a largely process driven sector? Are you an experienced Mechanical Commissioning technician looking to join an exciting scheme in Plymouth? If so, please read the below requirements my client has on their complex and exciting scheme. Please see below expectations / job responsibilities: Mechanical Commissioning Technician ·Conduct system walkdowns to ensure installations comply with project drawing's / documentation. ·Liaise with mechanical contractors as required to represent VSL commissioning. ·Liaise with vendor representatives during commissioning work scopes. ·Completion of static commissioning check sheets ·Carry out preservation on all mechanical equipment. ·Carry out preservation activities Experience: ·Experience of pre-commissioning & dynamic commissioning preferably in oil & gas / water process or similar industrial environment. ·Ability to read and interpret P&ID's and piping isometrics. ·Knowledge of installation standards on Hydrocarbon systems
