Job Description

This is a brand new position and exceptional opportunity for an operations manager to join a privately owned company with a view to help the company continue to grow in a specialist home improvement sector. * This well established and respected company has an exceptional reputation in the retail double glazing and commercial sectors. Installing "high end" high specification UPVc and aluminium windows and doors there is now a need for a senior operations manager to join the company. * As the operations manager you ideally will have installations or contracts management / technical experience with an ability to ensure that installations are managed and seen through to satisfactory on time completion. * You will need to have worked in the double glazing / window and glazing industry and be able to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple installations, ensuring that windows and doors get to site on time and that window fitters work within the company guidelines. * You will be an operations manager and ideally will have strong people skills with the ability to manage a busy office, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the overall business working alongside the owner. * The scope for growth in this position is quite exceptional as the owner will expect the successful candidate to move on to take overall responsibility of the business within a couple of years. * So if you are an experienced operations manager or general manager in the fenestration, double glazing industry and have always wanted the opportunity to be recognised for your capabilities then this really will appeal to you.
