Architectural Technician / Technologist

Our client, an architectural practice based in Gloucester, are seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join an expanding practice that have an excellent reputation. The most successful Architectural Technician / Technologist should be confident running their own projects. Due to the variety of sectors that our client work within, they are flexible with career background but do require someone who's highly competent. Our client is seeking someone who has experience running their own projects & has the ability to lead a team on various projects in different sectors. Our client is an expert at designing and delivering projects and have gained an excellent reputation in the South-West region in particular. They are a design-led practice, with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects with high attention to detail. Projects vary from client to client including small to large scale extensions, refurbishments and conversions. Sectors that this practice operates within include Residential, Leisure, Commercial, Healthcare and Education as well as some Defence. A few responsibilities include creating detailed drawings, working drawings and produce planning applications for several projects as well as producing 3D technical drawings, running projects and liaising with clients. They are a Revit/BIM practice but are happy to train candidates if they do not have the software knowledge prior to joining, for our client it is more about the right personality and experience. Our client is seeking someone who will be confident running Design and/or Technical teams.
