Architectural Technician / Technologist

We are currently representing an award-winning Architectural Practice based around the Tonbridge, Kent area that are actively seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to develop their career within a well-established, talented team. Our client specialises within the Commercial, Education, Residential and Office sector so they are ideally seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist with professional experience within at least one these sectors. Projects that the successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will be involved with will be small to large scale and will go up to £25 million in value. Key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, high quality technical drawing packages, working closely with clients as well as ensure projects are completed to a high standard. The Architectural Technician / Technologist will be using Revit on a daily basis so professional experience with this software is essential. Other software's used include AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign. This Architectural Practice prides themselves on the service they provide to their clients. The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will be expected to have previous client facing experience as well as excellent communication skills. Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview Working on a range of developments within several sectors Prepare and review architectural drawings Create high quality technical drawing packages Work closely with clients Conduct site meetings Produce construction drawings Use Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign on a daily basis Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Requirements Living in or around the Tonbridge, Kent area Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations Relevant Degree Qualified; minimum 5 years professional experience Client facing experience Experience within the Residential, Commercial and/or Education sector Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic Professional experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign; Essential Excellent communication skills Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Remuneration Salary; £28k - £35k (DOE) Holiday; 23 Days + Bank Holidays Pension Flexible Working Other Benefits Discussed At Interview Stage Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
