Job Description
My client, a busy local authority based in East Midlands are looking to bring in an interim Fire Safety Manager for an initial 6 months with the likelihood of an extension.
The role would be focused on over seeing the council's Fire Risk Assessment programme. Their portfolio consists of corporate properties. You will provide comprehensive expert advice to Council colleagues, duty holders and customers to ensure the legislative duties are discharged effectively, setting performance specifications and standards and ensuring works meet the required quality standard.
Desired candidate:
Degree in Fire Risk / Safety
Extensive experience of construction and maintenance
Experience working on commercial / corporate properties
Knowledge and application of most recent standards for fire safety management
Extensive experience in providing technical direction with regard to fire safety managementRate: Negotiable
Contract: 6 Months
Location: East Midlands
