GroundWorks QS Required For Successful Civil Engineering Company Groundworks Quantity Surveyor £50,000 + Company Car Scheme Swindon/ Gloucestershire/ Cotswolds Your new company Your new company is a reputable Swindon based groundworks, civil engineering contractor looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to add to their team due to expansion of newly acquired sites. Reporting to Commercial Management this position will suit an ambitious Quantity Surveyor keen to progress their career and skills with a successful growing contractor. Your new role Conducting site visits. Liaising with clients both face to face, over the phone and via email. Responsible for planning and managing your own workload in line with company and client needs. Pricing up of work, preparing quotes for clients. Control and management of monthly valuations. Day to day management and execution of project work.What you'll need to succeed You will have experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the groundworks sector. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Have a full UK driving licence. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Be competent with both Microsoft word and excel. Have the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and staff.What you'll get in return Company car scheme.
