At City of Bristol College we are looking for a Construction and the Built Environment Lecturer to work with our students on a part-time basis. Don’t worry if you are not teacher qualified, we will fully fund your qualification too.

Lecturer – HNC Construction and the Built Environment

Salary: £28,616 - £35,770 pro rata

Contract: Part time (0.25FTE), permanent

Location: South Bristol Skills Academy

What will you be doing?

City of Bristol College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive lecturer to join our dedicated team in Construction Technologies.  This is a permanent, part-time post (up to 0.25FTE). You will be teaching on the BTEC Level 4 HNC Construction and the Built Environment course, with up to 6 teaching hours per week.

We are looking for someone with experience of teaching the HNC in Construction and the Built Environment at Level 4 and/or above, and with good under-pinning knowledge of the course, in particular the Project and Mathematics.

A teaching qualification and experience in teaching/training would be a distinct advantage, though an attitude toward developing your teaching skills would be highly appreciated. The right person needs to be confident in working in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities. 

You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with Colleagues, Students and Stakeholders both internally and externally.
