SOCOTEC are the UK's leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services and are looking to hire a number of field technicians across the south to support the growth of our on-site laboratory teams.

This role is manually demanding and you will spend most days out on our customers’ construction sites. This role would ideally suit someone with construction experience who ideally holds a CSCS card. You will need to be comfortable working either alone or in a team and be happy in a customer facing role.

Based from one of our sites in Uxbridge, Dartford, Weymouth or Bridgend you will be driving to customer construction sites to take samples and prepare materials for laboratory tests such as soils and aggregates.

While testing experience is preferred it isn’t essential as we offer a full training programme to all of our team. You will need to have a full driving licence with less than 6 points and be happy working on repetitive tasks on customer sites.
