We have an exciting new opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Construction Apprenticeship Trainer to work within the Construction team on a permanent, part time basis (18.5 hours per week).
You will be responsible for a caseload of students on the Construction and the Built Environment up to HNC apprentice program, which will require you to visit them in their work place assessing their professional competencies, reviewing their progress on a regular basis and using an electronic portfolio system. If you want to inspire the next generation, this role is perfect for you! You need to have experience of working in construction management, Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying to apply for this role
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience. An assessor’s qualification and experience in assessing would be an advantage, though an attitude toward developing your assessing skills would be highly appreciated. The right person needs to be confident in working in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with Colleagues, Students and Stakeholders both internally and externally.
