Multi skilled trader opportunity in Cambridgeshire
Your new role
This is a new temporary multi trader position based on the outskirts of Cambridge. This role will start as temporary with the potential to turn to a permanent position.
To undertake a variety of multi trade works associated with the delivering responsive repairs and refurbishment work to a number of Council's properties. This will be predominantly working on the Councils housing stock but may include non-housing, commercial and other properties as required.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Ability to work on your own proficiently and carry out multitrade works without immediate supervision in the most efficient and economical manner.
- Work from drawings and specifications, requisition the necessary materials and accept responsibility for the completion of jobs to the allotted timescales.
- Undertake preparation and multitrade works to a high standard.
- To undertake trades duties such as tiling, plastering, plumbing and carpentry works.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in gaining this role you should have previous experience within a similar position. You should also hold your C&G /NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or Carpentry.
This position will require you to have a clean driver licence.
What you'll get in return
In return you will be on a competitive salary of £30,940. A company van will also be provided.
