Quantity Surveyor

A leading Housing Developer are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team in the Midlands. This an opportunity to join a fast growing company who have further expansion plans and this role would suit a candidate who is looking to make a step up to a Managing Surveyor role in the near future. The key responsibilities include: Sub-contractor procurement Procure subcontractors and key materials Produce applications for payment, strategy documentation and value enhancement plans Preparing monthly cost reports Develop, implement and review commercial practices across projects Deliver operational, commercial and contractual advice Final accounts Applications/valuations Generate monthly valuations and applications for payment Pricing and submitting variations Applicants will ideally have experience of working on both Speculative Housing and Contract Housing developments and a proven track record in a commercial role with a reputable builder.
