Labourer/Decorator – Competitive – Paddockhurst Estate, Turners Hill, West Sussex The Role Do you have knowledge of multiple trades? A position is available for an experienced labourer/decorator on Paddockhurst Estate in Turners Hill, West Sussex. Reporting to the Estate’s Property Maintenance Manager, this long-term employment opportunity involves aspects of all trades but could also focus on the skills of the successful applicant. The key responsibilities of a Labourer/Decorator include, but are not limited to: Serving the Works Department for the repair and maintenance of residential, commercial and agricultural properties. General Estate maintenance work. Teaming up with other professionals including joiners, plumbers and electricians. The Estate Paddockhurst Estate is a traditional family owned rural estate, located near Turners Hill, West Sussex. The Works Department is responsible for all aspects of property maintenance across the Estate which includes approximately 90 residential properties, a mix of let offices and commercial buildings, as well as a number of modern and traditional farm buildings. The Person The key skills and qualities of a Labourer/Decorator: Knowledge of multiple trades. Several years’ experience in maintenance and building work. Strong work ethic. Ideally possess their own set of tools. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. Clean Driving Licence.
