Electrician
Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a stable contract to see you through these difficult times and into the new year?
If so, this Local Authority contract could give you just that.
Who will you be joining?
East Midlands based Local Authority that provide support to social housing and sheltered accommodation properties. You will be joining their in-house trades team to support them with ongoing remedial works.
What will you do?
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
·Carrying out tests and inspections on domestic properties to assess repairs
·Managing voids remedial works
·Carry out repairs on tenanted social housing properties
·Supporting other local boroughs with the above
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
·Qualified in City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & testing or 2394 Initial verification & 2395 Periodic inspection and testing (Both units would be required)
·City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1&2 or 2330 or 2365 or NVQ level 3 including AM2
·C&G 2382 18TH Edition
·Experience working on sheltered accommodation & social housing
·Be located within 10 miles of Corby, Northants

Should you be successful in securing this exciting opportunity, you will have work up until March 2021 with the possibility of extension, a rate of £21.45 (umbrella) across a 37-hour week and A vehicle with fuel card that you will need to collect it daily.
