I am recruiting for a Highway Operatives to join our highways team in Somerset.
You will be expected to undertake duties associates with the maintenance and construction of highways works.
The duties are
·The preparation, application, compaction and removal of soils, rocks, coated and other materials
·Work on Highways furniture, equipment, and similar fixtures (e.g. Erection, maintenance, fixing and/or dismantling)

With an existing client base, they are a growing and forward thinking consultancy established in the use of BIM throughout their projects.
Role & Responsibilities
This Structural Engineering opportunity would ideally suit a Senior or Principal level Structural Engineer who is keen to progress to Associate level.
You will be assisting in leading an existing team of Engineers and Technicians, taking a lead on projects, manage existing clients and furthering your commercials skills in business development and work winning.
The scope of work is extremely varied, so past exposure to a variety of different building sectors is important. This includes, but is not limited to:
·Commercial
·Education
·Residential (including large developments)
·Retail
·Leisure
·Healthcare
·Refurbishment an renovation
Requirements:
·BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
·CEng status with IStructE or ICE
·Min 5 years' experience
·Experience of managing a design team
·Ability to train and mentor more junior members of the team
·Experience of whole project process from fee proposals and concept design to project completion
·Strong technical ability with in-depth experience of designing in all main materials
·Client facing
