Mobile Electrical Engineer Job - Hounslow, Ealing, Kingston - upwards of £18 per hour experience dependant
Your new company
You will be working for an asset management company that provide operatives to one of the largest housing associations in the country. They provide a range of property services to the private, public and not-for-profit sectors across South West London.
Your new role
You will be required to work between the hours of 8am and 5pm whereby you will be called to carry out electrical maintenance tasks within peoples homes across the South West of London. You will work across a variety of functional groups that are directly involved in Electrical Engineering, Servicing of Electrical Equipment and Systems. The candidate will need to be able to diagnose and repair electrical problems including fault-finding, rewiring, and installation. They will also need to assess the parts needed for service jobs and place orders for those parts, do installation of various types of containment systems to include tray, conduits etc and conduct routine maintenance/testing in domestic households. In addition to this you will need to ensure installations are to current BS Standards and ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards and follows safety requirements. You will need to be comfortable working alone or as part of a team and provide exceptional face to face customer service and answer any customer questions. The chose electricians will need to have a valid UK driving licence as you will be driving between properties in and around South West London.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to possess a full UK Driving License as you will be driving from house to house, be qualified in City & Guilds 18th edition and Level 3 NVQ Qualified. It would be advantageous if you had Test & Inspection 2391 qualification but not essential.
