Senior Project Manager

My client is a market leading railway contractor with expertise in railway civils projects, they have a fantastic reputation for quality and have a huge presence in both England and Scotland. An exciting order book has led to the need for a brand-new Major Projects Division. This role is an opportunity to be a vital piece in the growth of the new division and head up a variety of projects throughout the North West of the country. Location: North West Length: Permanent Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 DOE + 13.75% on target bonus Package: Level 5 car or £6,600 car allowance, Bupa Healthcare, 34 days holiday, Job Role: ·Establish and develop client relationships to benefit the business. ·understanding of client budgets to ensure commercial success on projects. ·Create and lead delivery plan for the project portfolio. ·Identify and establish the best team for each project. ·Ensure the project delivery teams work closely with commercial and estimating to provide quality and timely input into tenders. ·Take ownership for the delivery of the required KPI performance on your portfolio, including successful project handback ·Coach and develop project team to maximise performance ·Identify skills and capacity gaps in conjunction with the project team and identify solutions ·Work closely with the HSQE team to ensure safety standards are set and understood ·Promote a safety-first culture and role model excellent safety behaviours ·Ensure an ongoing drive for quality in conjunction with Design, Engineering and Project Controls & Quality Managers Requirements: ·Valid PTS and SMSTS ·Experience working as CRE or CEM (desirable) ·Experience managing projects with a value of £15+ million ·5+ years working as a senior project manager in the railway industry ·Experience working on large heavy civil railway projects ·Proven track record in the on-time delivery of projects How to Apply: Send in your CV to me at (url removed) or call me at (phone number removed)
